KEDIRI – XLsmart, together with its collaboration partners, held a training program titled “Peduli Disabilitas Berdaya” (Caring for and Empowering People with Disabilities) at Viva Hotel, Kediri, East Java, on Wednesday (22 October 2025).
The initiative combined digital literacy and entrepreneurship as a tangible effort to empower people with disabilities.
A total of 23 participants, including individuals from the Deaf (Teman Tuli) and Physically Disabled (Teman Daksa) communities, joined the event, demonstrating the inclusive spirit promoted by XLsmart and its partners.
In his opening remarks, Eko Setiawan, Head of Greater Madiun XLsmart, emphasised that this program is not only about building digital networks but also about strengthening human connections.
“XLsmart is not only about building digital connectivity, but also about building human connectivity,” he said on stage.
Through this initiative, XLsmart and its partners reaffirmed their commitment to promoting independence, equality, and empowerment for people with disabilities, ensuring they have the opportunity to thrive.
Iwan Firmansyah, Deputy Program Director of DT Peduli, expressed his gratitude for being part of the collaboration.
“Alhamdulillah, we’re truly grateful and honoured to be part of XLsmart’s collaboration. We share the same spirit for our friends with disabilities. Through this inclusive approach, we hope they gain equal access and opportunities to grow within the digital world,” he stated.
