LAMPUNG — XLSMART, in collaboration with DT Peduli Lampung, distributed essential food packages to survivors of the recent flash flood in Gunung Sari Hamlet, Banding Agung Village, Suoh District, West Lampung Regency, on Friday (September 29, 2025).
This distribution is part of XLSMART’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative and a demonstration of solidarity and care for residents affected by the devastating flood that struck Gunung Sari Hamlet on Wednesday (September 10, 2025).
The flash flood, which carried mud, rocks, and fallen trees, with water levels reaching up to one meter, caused severe damage to rice fields and residential areas throughout the hamlet.
A total of 47 food packages were distributed directly by Zulkarnain, Territory Sales Manager of XLSMART for the Kotabumi area, accompanied by the DT Peduli Lampung Team. The assistance aimed to help fulfill the basic needs of the affected families and accelerate the recovery process in the disaster-stricken area.
In addition to providing material support, the initiative also served as an expression of solidarity and compassion, offering comfort to those who lost their homes and livelihoods.
A representative of the Gunung Sari Hamlet administration, Ikhwan, expressed his gratitude for the assistance provided. “On behalf of all residents, we extend our deepest thanks to XLSMART for the generous aid given to our community. May this assistance bring great benefits, and may XLSMART continue to grow and prosper,” said Ikhwan.
