On Friday (22 August 2025), the DT Peduli Solo program team distributed business capital assistance to micro and small entrepreneurs around its service office and in several underprivileged urban areas of Surakarta. The beneficiaries run a wide range of businesses, from traditional herbal drink sellers and street food vendors to snack sellers, nasi pecel stalls, and other small traders.
This program was born out of the belief that economic independence can grow from small-scale enterprises when nurtured and empowered. With the capital provided, the beneficiaries now have the opportunity to improve their families’ livelihoods while also contributing to their communities.
DT Peduli Solo continues to be a trusted channel for muzaki to distribute their zakat. The zakat funds collected are then transformed into empowerment programs for small businesses, making a tangible impact in reducing poverty across Greater Solo.
