MEDAN – DT Peduli North Sumatra (Sumut) held an orientation and welcoming event for the 8th Batch of students at the Rumah Tahfidz Qur’an (RTQ) for the 2025/2026 academic year. The event occurred on Thursday (31 July 2025) at Al Aqsa Prayer Hall, Abadi Palace Complex, Abadi Street, Tanjung Rejo Subdistrict, Medan Sunggal District.
This occasion served as an important moment to introduce the RTQ program, explain the one-year boarding curriculum and daily activities, and strengthen communication between the institution and the students’ parents. New students and their families attended the event, the DT Peduli North Sumatra team, and representatives from supporting partners.
Esty Iswahyuni, Head of DT Peduli North Sumatra Representative Office, delivered her welcome speech:
“We extend our ahlan wa sahlan to all students and parents as part of the big family of DT Peduli North Sumatra. We hope this gathering will mark the start of strong collaboration between parents and the institution in ensuring the success of the Rumah Tahfidz Qur’an program, as part of our shared mission in spreading the message of Islam,” she said.
One of the new students, Ahmad Fadli Nawawi, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to join the RTQ scholarship program:
“I am truly grateful to DT Peduli North Sumatra for opening this one-year boarding scholarship program. I feel blessed to be accepted, and I hope to complete the program successfully while upholding the good name of the institution,” he shared.
DT Peduli hopes that this program will pave the way for the emergence of a Qur’an-loving generation with noble character, ready to become agents of positive change within society. The institution also looks forward to ongoing collaboration with parents and partners to support the students’ education and development to the fullest.
