AMMAN, JORDAN – DT Peduli delivered humanitarian aid in the form of 100 winter relief packages and 100 iftar meal packages to benefit 600 people at Maqabalain Camp, a Palestinian refugee settlement near the Jordanian border, on Sunday (March 9, 2025).

This assistance was provided to ease the burden of refugees facing a harsh winter and the spiritual demands of the holy month of Ramadhan.

The winter packages included blankets, beanies, gloves, and jackets. Meanwhile, the iftar packages consisted of ready-to-eat meals to meet nutritional needs during the fasting month.

Wahyu, a supervisor from DT Peduli Foundation, shared that this distribution marks the beginning of a series of Ramadhan programs for Palestine.

“In shaa Allah, today’s iftar package distribution is just the start. We plan to distribute a total of 1,400 iftar meals in the coming days,” he stated.

He also called on all donors and the Daarut Tauhiid community to continue praying that this effort becomes a means of attaining Allah’s highest paradise.

Ahmad Zailani, DT Peduli’s program partner in Jordan, revealed the heartbreaking situation of 400 impoverished families living in Maqabalain Camp.

They are in desperate need of winter clothing, food supplies, housing rent support, as well as emotional and legal protection.

“Rental homes require payment for water, electricity, and other basic needs. These families are living well below the poverty line,” he said.
He expressed hope that this aid would offer some relief to those in need.

Maqabalain Camp has served as a refuge for Palestinians since the Nakba in 1948 when thousands of Palestinians were forcibly displaced from their homeland by Israel.

To this day, they continue to live in extreme hardship and rely heavily on sustained humanitarian support.

DT Peduli remains committed to supporting Palestinian refugees through humanitarian programs that directly address their most urgent needs.
