INDRAMAYU – Smiles lit up the faces of 25 orphaned children as they took part in the Happy Outing program organized by DT Peduli Cirebon Service Office (KL) on Sunday, July 20, 2025. Held at Waterboom Barokah Indramayu, the joyful event became a memorable moment for all involved.

Accompanied by volunteers and chaperones, the children traveled to the location on a cheerful “odong-odong” (decorated mini-train vehicle). Along the way, they waved small Indonesian and Palestinian flags with excitement, laughter echoing throughout the ride.

Upon arrival, the children gathered to recite prayers together — for the donors and their deceased parents. During this heartfelt moment, they were also given a simple reminder to always be grateful to Allah SWT for all the blessings in their lives.

The event continued with an energetic ice-breaking session led by volunteers. The atmosphere grew even more lively as quiz questions were asked and small prizes awarded to those who answered correctly. After a short briefing, the children changed into their swimwear and eagerly jumped into the pool area.

Their happiness was palpable as they played in the water. Joyful shouts echoed through the park as a giant tipping bucket splashed water over the excited children. What seemed like a simple moment became an extraordinary and unforgettable experience for them.

One of the most loved attractions was the slides. The younger children enjoyed the small water slides, while the older and braver ones took on the spiraling slide. Many also had a blast repeatedly going down the rainbow slide on inflatable tubes, their faces glowing with joy.

“I’m so happy today. I went swimming and used the slides,” said 9-year-old Satria, one of the participants, with a wide and innocent smile.

Though simple, this experience meant the world to the orphaned children. It allowed them to enjoy a day of fun, just like other children — a rare and cherished happiness for many of them.

Hakim, Head of KL DT Peduli Cirebon, expressed his gratitude for the event’s success.

“We’re truly grateful to be part of bringing joy to these children. May everyone who has contributed to this cause be rewarded with lasting blessings,” he said, filled with hope.
