CIREBON – The DT Peduli Cirebon Service Office sent five university scholarship recipients to participate in the Basic Education and Training Camp (Diklatsar) held in Bandung from Tuesday (12/8/2025) to Thursday (14/8/2025).

The program was initiated by the West Java Regional Office of DT Peduli, involving scholarship recipients from several service offices across West Java, including Kuningan, Cirebon, Sukabumi, Tasikmalaya, and Garut. The training aimed to strengthen faith in Allah SWT, introduce participants to DT’s organizational culture, and develop their physical and mental resilience.

Windi, one of the participants from Cirebon, shared her valuable three-day, two-night experience:

“On the first day, we were divided into groups and received various sessions. We were awakened for reflection at night by being placed inside a burial pit. It was a mix of emotions. After that, we performed the Tahajjud prayer,” she explained.

On the second day, she and the other participants joined rafting activities at Curug Layung, handled snakes, and underwent a solo bivouac in the forest. They were taught to surrender themselves to Allah fully. In conditions of darkness and solitude, participants were encouraged to engage in remembrance (dhikr) and recite the Qur’an.

“It was an unforgettable three days and two nights. Without phones, but full of meaningful lessons. Thank You, O Allah, and thank you to everyone involved. Thank you to the donors. May Allah reward you all with goodness,” Windi concluded.

Throughout the camp, participants were challenged to break through personal barriers, overcome fear, develop discipline through time management, and practice leadership and teamwork.

“After completing this program, we hope participants will become resilient individuals, unyielding, and ready to dedicate themselves in service to the community,” said Hakim, Head of the DT Peduli Cirebon Service Office.
