PANDEGLANG – DT Peduli Banten distributed fidyah rice aid to 16 elderly beneficiaries in Koroncong Village, Koroncong Subdistrict, Pandeglang Regency, on Friday (September 26, 2025).
This program aims to support underprivileged seniors in meeting their daily food needs while easing their economic burdens, especially amid the rising prices of basic necessities.
According to Budiman, Program Manager of DT Peduli Banten, the fidyah distribution reflects the organization’s commitment to caring for vulnerable groups — particularly the elderly who struggle to meet their essential food requirements.
“Through this program, we hope more people will receive the help they need, and that more individuals and institutions will be inspired to share and show compassion for others,” Budiman said.
During the distribution, the elderly beneficiaries appeared orderly and enthusiastic as they received the fidyah rice. One of the recipients, Sopiah, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the DT Peduli Banten team.
“We are deeply grateful — this assistance truly helps ease our family’s financial burden, especially in fulfilling our daily needs,” Sopiah said with emotion.
