BATAM — DT Peduli Kepulauan Riau (Kepri), in collaboration with PaxOcean Batam, distributed 30 quality mattresses and complete sleeping kits to two orphanages in Batam on Saturday (1 November 2025). The initiative aims to enhance the comfort and well-being of orphaned students by providing them with proper sleeping facilities.
The two beneficiary orphanages were Panti Al Jabbar, located in Bengkong Sadai, Bengkong District, and Panti Ahlul Bait, situated in Legenda Malaka Housing, Baloi, Batam City.
In addition to the 30 mattresses in excellent condition, the assistance—contributed by the Nigaloo Vision vessel team—included essential items such as blankets, bed sheets, pillows, and thin mattresses.
Representatives from the orphanages expressed heartfelt gratitude:
“We are deeply thankful to DT Peduli for their continuous support and donations. Every contribution has truly benefited our children and made their lives more comfortable,” said one of the caregivers.
A representative from PaxOcean also extended appreciation to DT Peduli for facilitating the distribution process:
“We sincerely thank DT Peduli for helping ensure these donations reach the right beneficiaries efficiently and compassionately,” they said.
