Sultan of Deli XIV Visits DT Peduli North Sumatra’s Outstanding Qur’an Memorization House
Sultan Deli XIV presents a Qur’an to a student at the Tahfidz House.
MEDAN – The Outstanding Tahfidz House (RTU) of DT Peduli North Sumatra received the honor of a special visit from His Royal Highness Sultan of Deli XIV, Tuanku Sultan Mahmud Aria Lamantjiji Perkasa Alam Shah, on Friday (June 20, 2025).
The visit took place at Al Ikhwah Mosque, Daarut Tauhiid, located on Jalan Melintang, Tanjung Selamat Village, Percut Sei Tuan Subdistrict, Deli Serdang Regency. On this occasion, Sultan Deli XIV personally presented copies of the Qur’an as a gift to the students of the Outstanding Tahfidz House.
This historic and meaningful moment left a deep impression on the DT Peduli North Sumatra community, especially the students, who were further inspired to deepen, memorize, and live by the teachings of the Qur’an.
“We are incredibly grateful for the presence of Sultan Deli XIV, who took the time to visit and engage with our students. His visit serves as a powerful motivation for them to pursue their Qur’anic memorization with renewed spirit,” Esty Iswahyuni, Head of DT Peduli North Sumatra Office, said.
One of the students, Rayfal, speaking on behalf of his peers, also shared his appreciation:
“Thank you to the Sultan for the gift of the Qur’an. May it be a source of ongoing reward (sadaqah jariyah) and bring abundant blessings to the Sultan and his entire family,” he said.
DT Peduli North Sumatra hopes this noble visit will serve as a continued source of encouragement for all students in their journey to become outstanding Qur’anic generations, while also strengthening ties with community leaders to promote a civilization rooted in Qur’anic values.
