MALANG – Several university students from various campuses in Malang City took part in the second stage of the Khadimul Ummah Scholarship selection, organized by DT Peduli Malang. The selection process, which included a written test and an interview session, was held on Monday (July 21, 2025) at the DT Peduli Malang office on Kyai Parseh Jaya Street, Polehan Subdistrict, Blimbing District, Malang City.
This phase followed the initial registration and administrative screening. The participants consisted of active students in their 5th to 8th semesters who demonstrated a strong commitment to community service and dedication to Islamic values and leadership.
The written test assessed participants’ knowledge in Islamic studies and youth leadership, while the interview session explored their integrity, motivation, and previous social engagement experience.
The Khadimul Ummah Scholarship is a strategic program by DT Peduli Malang aimed at nurturing academically excellent young Muslim leaders who are active in da’wah and ready to serve as agents of change within society.
Participants appeared enthusiastic and focused throughout the selection process. One of them, a student from Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang, expressed his gratitude for being part of the program.
“I’m truly grateful to be involved in this selection. I hope I pass and can become more beneficial to the ummah through this opportunity,” he said.
The results of the selection will be announced in the coming weeks through DT Peduli Malang’s official information channels. Scholarship recipients will receive regular mentoring, guidance, and financial support to aid their academic and social activities.
