BANDUNG — DT Peduli Bandung conducted a Communication, Coordination, and Control (3K) meeting with key stakeholders in Mekarsari Village, Pasirjambu Subdistrict, on Thursday (November 6, 2025). The main agenda of the meeting was to discuss strategies for empowering coffee farmers and establishing a transparent selection mechanism for program beneficiaries.
The meeting was attended by the Head of Mekarsari Village, the Chairperson of the Gapoktanhut (Forest Farmer Group Association), and local coffee farmers. The discussion was engaging, focusing on the unique flavor potential of Mekarsari coffee and its opportunities to become a leading local product.
Satriya, representing DT Peduli Bandung, explained that the upcoming assistance program will include capacity-building training, farm management guidance, and provision of production support facilities. The selection process will be carried out transparently to ensure that the program remains effective, accountable, and sustainable.
“This collaboration marks an important first step toward creating farmers who are not only productive but also competitive and equipped with sound business management skills,” said Satriya.
The Head of Mekarsari Village expressed strong support for the initiative:
“We truly welcome this program. Hopefully, it will help Mekarsari’s coffee farmers become more self-reliant and improve the quality of their harvests,” he said.
