LOMBOK — DT Peduli, in collaboration with the Hajj Financial Management Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (BPKH RI), carried out a support program for two cattle farming groups in Lombok on Thursday (28 August 2025). The initiative aims to help farmers manage livestock health and improve cattle productivity.
As part of the program, DT Peduli distributed various veterinary medicines—such as dewormers, vitamins, and antibiotics—to 10 members of the Abuni and Lingkuk Ketapang farming groups. The support is intended to help farmers both prevent and treat livestock diseases.
The program went beyond the distribution of medicine, offering training in livestock health management and routine monitoring.
“Farmers were also able to consult directly with DT Peduli staff for technical support,” said Saeful, a livestock health officer from the West Lombok Animal Husbandry Department and a DT Peduli partner.
Penas, a DT Peduli livestock facilitator, added that continuous group mentoring would enable farmers to strengthen their cattle groups’ welfare and productivity.
Balian, a representative of the Ketapang Farmers Group, expressed his gratitude for the intensive and consistent support:
“This assistance has been very helpful for us in improving cattle weight, managing our farmer groups, and ensuring livestock health. Thank you, BPKH RI and DT Peduli—may this bring abundant blessings,” he said.
