GARUT – DT Peduli Garut, in collaboration with LAZ Bumi Darajat Star Energi and Klinik Cidatar, has initiated the construction of an outdoor chicken coop as part of an economic empowerment program for layer chicken farming at Madrasah Al Barokah. This program aims to support the economic independence of asatidz (religious educators) and enhance the operational sustainability of the madrasah, starting with the provision of 150 layer chickens.
The construction was officially inaugurated on Monday (10/11/2025) as the first step toward establishing a sustainable, community-based economic ecosystem driven by local potential.
H. Asep, representative of Yayasan Madrasah Al Barokah, expressed his gratitude for the collaborative support.
“We are deeply grateful to DT Peduli Garut, LAZ Bumi Darajat Star Energi, and Klinik Cidatar. This program will bring significant economic benefits to our asatidz, fostering a spirit of independence and shared responsibility in managing collective enterprises,” he said.
Abar, Head of DT Peduli Garut Service Office (KL), emphasised the institution’s commitment to supporting educator empowerment.
“We hope this program becomes a tangible example of how cross-institutional collaboration can deliver substantial benefits. Empowerment is not just about livestock support but about building an independent and sustainable economic system,” Abar stated.
