BATAM — As part of its ongoing commitment to improving access to quality education, DT Peduli Kepulauan Riau (Kepri) conducted a field survey at two schools in Batam on Friday (24 October 2025).

The survey was carried out in preparation for the School Facility Development Program, a collaborative initiative with PT Citra Tubindo, aimed at collecting accurate data and assessing infrastructure needs to ensure the program’s effectiveness.

The two schools visited were Taman Siswa Private School in Batu Aji and SDN 007 Bulang in Kampung Tamua Setokok.

Taman Siswa School is planned to receive assistance in constructing a multi-purpose hall, as well as renovating the art and culture room, library, and school toilets.

Meanwhile, SDN 007 Bulang will benefit from the construction of a new multi-purpose hall and additional toilets, as the school currently has only two toilets for 135 students.

Titus, Chairperson of the Taman Siswa Foundation in Batam, expressed his gratitude for the initiative.

“We are truly grateful for the opportunity to receive support for improving our school facilities,” he said.

At SDN 007 Bulang, Johan, Head of School Development, also welcomed the program with enthusiasm.

“Alhamdulillahirabbil’alamin, thank you so much for caring and supporting education in the island region of Setokok. May blessings be upon DT Peduli and PT Citra Tubindo,” he shared.

Through this collaboration, DT Peduli Kepri and PT Citra Tubindo aim to make a meaningful contribution toward strengthening educational infrastructure—especially in regions with limited access to resources—helping more students learn in safe, inspiring, and well-equipped environments.
