MAKASSAR – Hisana Fried Chicken, in collaboration with DT Peduli South Sulawesi (Sulsel), organized a Free Health Check-up event for the local community around the Hisana Aroepala outlet in Makassar on Friday (8 November 2025). A total of 45 residents benefited from the basic healthcare services provided.
The check-up, warmly welcomed by community members since early morning, included blood pressure screening, blood glucose testing, uric acid checks, and basic medical consultations facilitated by DT Peduli’s medical team.
One of the beneficiaries, Tunnia, expressed her gratitude, saying,
“Thank you, Nak. I’m grateful there is a free health check here at Hisana. I cannot go to the hospital because I don’t have the money. May you all be blessed,” she said emotionally.
Hasmirah, Program Manager of DT Peduli South Sulawesi, highlighted the importance of continued collaboration with private sector partners such as Hisana.
“We see that many people still lack access to basic health assessments. Collaborating with private partners like Hisana is crucial to reaching more beneficiaries,” she stated.
Through this initiative, it is hoped that more communities will become aware of the importance of maintaining their health, and that more partners will be inspired to join in contributing to social good.
