Stairs and Power Installed — Bushola Madrasah Ready to Welcome Palestinian Children by February 2026

October 30, 2025

AMMAN — Amidst the vast refugee camps stretching across Jordan’s arid lands, the long-awaited Bushola Madrasah is finally taking shape. This school represents a beacon of hope for Palestinian children living under hardship and displacement.

On Thursday afternoon (October 30, 2025), Muhammad Ihsan, Director of the Community Service Division of DT Peduli, and Cucu Hidayat, Treasurer of DT Peduli Foundation, walked slowly around the construction site of the Bushola Madrasah. Their eyes glimmered with gratitude as they observed the visible progress — the fruit of months of dedication and collective effort.

“Alhamdulillah, even though the progress is gradual, every step forward is meaningful. Two months ago, this staircase didn’t exist — and now it connects all the way up to the top floor,” said Ihsan, pointing toward the newly completed stairs.

In addition to the staircase, electrical installations have also begun to take shape. Neatly aligned cables running along the walls mark another milestone toward the school’s readiness as a centre of learning.

The Bushola Madrasah — a symbol of cross-border compassion and solidarity — is the result of collaboration between several humanitarian organisations, including DT Peduli, Wakaf Salman ITB, and Masjid Istiqlal Japan, among others. Through this joint effort, donations amounting to IDR 1.1 billion were collected, which funded the construction of Musala Ikhwan — the spiritual heart of the school.

The musala will serve as a sanctuary where Palestinian children can recite the Qur’an, memorise its verses, and find solace amid the harsh realities of refugee life.

“Our efforts are not limited to providing charity, clothing, or food. We strive to empower through education — because education is the key to building a better future, especially for Palestinian children growing up under occupation,” Ihsan emphasised.

Construction continues steadily, with every worker aware that behind each brick lies the hope of hundreds of children waiting for a chance to learn in dignity.

“InshaAllah, if all goes well, by February 2026, the Bushola Madrasah will be officially launched and ready to serve Palestinian students across the refugee camps in Jordan,” Ihsan concluded.
