MATARAM – In collaboration with DT Peduli, XL SMART distributed 90 food packages and 15 hygiene kits to flood survivors in Jalan Sapotan and Jalan Pura Demak, Denpasar, Bali. This initiative was part of a rapid emergency response to what has been described as the worst flooding in the past ten years.
Ragil, Head of DT Peduli KL Mataram, explained that the heavy rainfall in Bali has claimed 18 lives and left 4 people missing.
“Floods and landslides have struck areas across Denpasar, Jembrana, Badung, and Gianyar, taking lives and separating many families from their loved ones,” he said.
The relief effort also involved local community leaders, including Eko, Head of the PWNU NTB Interfaith Post. Eko actively participated in cleanup and community work alongside residents.
“Alhamdulillah, we are very grateful to DT Peduli donors. This aid has brought strength and renewed spirit to our community as we face this trial. May every contribution bring blessings to the people here,” expressed Eko.
