SOLO – DT Peduli Solo continues to bring smiles and nourishment to orphaned and underprivileged students through its meal donation program. Throughout September, meals were distributed across four different locations in Solo and Kartasura, aiming to share both happiness and nutrition with the children.
The first distribution was carried out through a unique initiative called “KOKCIL” (Small Bowl), held every first Friday of the month. In this program, students from local orphanages are invited to enjoy a meal of soto (traditional soup) and ice cream together near the DT Peduli office, fostering a sense of warmth and togetherness.
The next three distributions took place directly at the orphanages: Hajjah Patisah Orphanage on Monday (22/9/2025), Sudjono Taruno Orphanage on Wednesday (25/9/2025), and Nurul Huda Orphanage on Monday (29/9/2025).
One of the caretakers at Sudjono Taruno Orphanage, Heri, expressed his heartfelt appreciation: “We are deeply grateful to all DT Peduli donors for their generous support and meal donations. This program has brought great joy to the children, and we hope it can continue to be expanded in collaboration with various communities across Solo Raya,” he said.
A representative from DT Peduli Solo emphasized their commitment to sustaining the meal donation program, inspired by the words of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who said that “rooms in Paradise are prepared for those who feed others.”
