MALANG — DT Peduli Malang successfully organized a Bakery & Pastry Culinary Training at the Food Lab of Malang Creative Center on Thursday (September 25, 2025). This activity was part of the Skill Connect Center program, aimed at enhancing the skills of housewives who are starting home-based businesses in bread and pastry orders.
Dozens of participants enthusiastically practiced various bread-making techniques under the direct guidance of Chef Sulaeman. The training focused on mastering the basics and maximizing simple equipment to produce quality products.
“Even though most participants had no prior experience in bread-making, Alhamdulillah, they were able to produce excellent creations using only simple tools,” said Chef Sulaeman.
One participant, Hana, expressed her gratitude: “We gained very useful knowledge, became more confident in growing our businesses, and also built new connections,” she shared.
Through this program, DT Peduli Malang hopes to encourage the growth of MSMEs in the pastry and bakery sector, while opening new economic opportunities for the community.
