MAKASSAR – DT Peduli South Sulawesi (Sulsel) distributed fidyah as part of its Stunting Nutrition Care Program at the Jongaya Subdistrict Office Hall, Tamalate District, on Monday (11 August 2025). The program targeted 26 children aged 2 to 7 years from underprivileged families.
The distribution was attended by Hasmirah, Program Manager of DT Peduli Sulsel, and M. Syarifuddin Djoro, Secretary of Jongaya Subdistrict. Each child received a nutrition package aimed at supporting their growth and reducing the risk of stunting.
Hasmirah explained that this year’s fidyah distribution specifically focused on the stunting issue, as the prevalence remains high in Makassar.
“Through this program, we want to ensure that the fidyah entrusted by donors directly benefits children in need, particularly in fulfilling their nutritional requirements,” she stated.![]()

DT Peduli hopes this program will not only help meet children’s nutritional needs but also raise public awareness about the importance of a balanced and nutritious diet for the healthy growth of the nation’s next generation.
