BARITO KUALA — DT Peduli South Kalimantan once again carried out its Friday Blessings program by distributing 150 boxed meals to residents of Kanoko Village, Anjir Serapat Muara I, Anjir Muara Subdistrict, on Friday (November 28, 2025).
The initiative aims to help ease residents’ daily food needs while expanding the impact of zakat, infaq, and sadaqah (ZIS) funds for vulnerable communities. Distribution was conducted by the DT Peduli South Kalimantan team in collaboration with local volunteers, who delivered the meals directly to residents, particularly those living along riverbanks and in rural areas.
The activity ran smoothly and was warmly welcomed by the community. One beneficiary, M. Abdan, expressed his gratitude for the assistance.
“Thank you to the team for coming all the way here. This support is very helpful, especially for us who work as farmers and daily laborers with unstable income,” he said.
Through this program, DT Peduli South Kalimantan reaffirmed its commitment to delivering tangible benefits and shared blessings to rural communities, particularly in areas with limited access to social assistance.
