SUKABUMI — In a swift post-flood response, XL SMART, in collaboration with DT Peduli Sukabumi, distributed 50 essential food packages to residents affected by the flood in Kampung Tugu, Cikahuripan Village, Cisolok District, Sukabumi Regency, on Wednesday (5 November 2025). This initiative aims to support the recovery of communities still struggling with the aftermath of the disaster.
Each package contained staple necessities such as rice, cooking oil, and other basic food items. The aid was delivered directly by the XL SMART team together with DT Peduli Sukabumi to the most affected families.
On-site, cleanup activities were still ongoing, as residents worked to remove mud and debris from their homes. Access to clean water also remains a major challenge in the area.
One of the affected residents, Galih, expressed his gratitude:
“Alhamdulillah, thank you to XL SMART and DT Peduli for coming directly to help us. This food assistance is very meaningful for our daily needs, especially while we are still recovering from the flood,” he said with emotion.
Gina Muharram, Program Staff at DT Peduli, emphasized the importance of such collaborations in disaster recovery efforts:
“We hope this partnership will continue to support post-disaster recovery and strengthen the spirit of solidarity and mutual cooperation among the people of Sukabumi. This assistance shows how collaboration between the private sector and humanitarian organizations plays a vital role in responding to crises,” she explained.
