GAZA, PALESTINE – Daarut Tauhiid (DT) Peduli distributed 500 Eid gifts to refugees and families of students in North Gaza and around DT Gaza Mosque, on Saturday (3/29/2025). This program is in collaboration with the Al-Khair Foundation.

This activity was carried out ahead of Eid al-Fitr as a form of support for residents affected by the prolonged war. The staple food packages were distributed in a number of critical points, including the conflict-ravaged North Gaza area, as well as the DT Gaza Mosque neighborhood which sheltered hundreds of families.

Each package contains basic necessities, such as rice, oil, sugar, flour, and other dry foodstuffs to ease the economic burden of the recipients. Most of the packages were given to refugees who lost their homes due to the war, while the rest were allocated to the families of Baitul Qur’an DT Gaza students who live around the mosque.

The selection of this location is strategic, considering that the DT Gaza Mosque is not only a center of worship but also a place of learning for students and emergency refuge.

Sheikh Yasin, Imam of DT Gaza Mosque and Baitul Qur’an Program Supervisor, expressed his deep appreciation for this assistance.

“This is a clear proof of the solidarity of the people. Thank you to Aa Gym, Daarut Tauhiid, and DT Peduli for bringing smiles to the people of Gaza,” he said.

The students of Baitul Quran also expressed their gratitude, calling this assistance an encouragement at the end of Ramadan. One of the recipients, Reem Kamal, expressed her happiness.

“This gift means a lot to us who lost everything. May Allah protect Aa Gym, the DT Peduli team, all donors, and the good people of Indonesia,” she said emotionally.

Many recipients prayed for ease and safety for the parties involved, especially amid Gaza’s attack-prone condition.

The collaboration between Al-Khair foundation and DT Peduli emphasizes the importance of global synergy for humanity. In addition to meeting physical needs, this program also strengthens the mentality of recipients who live in uncertainty.

Sheikh Yasin hopes that similar initiatives will continue, while DT Peduli emphasizes its commitment to assist Gazans until full recovery is achieved.

“This is the essence of Ramadan: sharing and embracing others,” he concluded.
