PADANG – DT Peduli West Sumatra (Sumbar) delivered aid to families affected by a fire on Thursday (4 September 2025). The incident destroyed two homes and caused significant losses.
DT Peduli Sumbar promptly provided affected families with aid packages containing basic food, decent clothing, and ready-to-eat meals. This aid helps families with daily needs after the disaster.
Halimahtus Sa’diyah, Program Manager of DT Peduli Sumbar, expressed deep concern for the victims:
“We hope this assistance can help ease the hardship faced by the affected families. In shaa Allah, DT Peduli will continue to stand with the community in all situations, including during times of disaster,” she said.
In addition to emergency supplies, DT Peduli Sumbar is committed to continuing its support, enabling families to recover and rebuild after the fire. The presence of volunteers and solidarity from the local community has also given strength and encouragement to the survivors.
With joint efforts from social organizations, the community, and local authorities, it is hoped that the fire victims will soon recover and be able to move forward with resilience.
