LEBAK – DT Peduli Serang extended assistance to Rizki, a two-year-old boy living with a colostomy, in Kampung Gubug, Desa Calung Bungur, Sajira Subdistrict, Lebak, Banten, on Wednesday (3 September 2025). The aid was aimed at easing the family’s burden in covering Rizki’s medical and daily needs.
Rizki, the son of Erwin and Turyati, was diagnosed with a colostomy condition at birth. He requires a colostomy bag attached to his abdomen, which must be changed regularly. The family’s limited financial means make it difficult to afford the costly bags.
DT Peduli’s assistance included cash support, colostomy bags, bandages, medicines, milk, and food packages. The cash aid will help cover transportation costs for Rizki’s medical check-ups, while the groceries ensure the family’s basic needs are met.
“We are very grateful to DT Peduli for this assistance. It has been very hard for us to afford the colostomy bags. This support really helps us,” said Erwin, with teary eyes.
Epul Saepudin, DT Peduli Serang’s Distribution Staff, stated that this support reflects DT Peduli’s commitment to caring for vulnerable communities.
“We hope this aid can ease the burden on Rizki’s family and contribute to his recovery,” he said.
This support for Rizki is part of DT Peduli’s health and humanitarian assistance programs for underprivileged communities.
