PEKANBARU — PT Telkom Riau, in collaboration with DT Peduli Riau, has successfully implemented the Infrastructure for Good Program by providing clean water and proper sanitation facilities for Badrul Islam Islamic Boarding School, located in Rantau Panjang Subdistrict, Rumbai Barat District, Pekanbaru City, on Wednesday (October 29, 2025).
This initiative aims to improve the facilities for students by ensuring access to clean water and adequate sanitation, reflecting both organisations’ commitment to supporting Islamic educational institutions and advancing community welfare.
The program was officially inaugurated by H. Sarbaini, Expert Staff for Social Affairs and Human Resources, representing the Government of Pekanbaru City.
“Warm greetings from our Mayor, Mr. Agung Nugroho, who unfortunately could not attend due to another engagement. Congratulations to PT Telkom Riau and DT Peduli Riau—may you continue spreading goodness and providing meaningful benefits to society,” he expressed.
The event began with a heartfelt recitation of shalawat performed by the hadroh group from the students of Badrul Islam Islamic Boarding School. The ceremony was also attended by the Rumbai Barat Subdistrict Head, representatives from the local military and police, the DT Peduli Riau team, as well as local community leaders, including the subdistrict head and RT/RW representatives.
Windari Ade Fransiska, Head of DT Peduli Riau Representative Office, expressed her appreciation for PT Telkom Riau’s continuous support across various social programs. She also encouraged the school community to maintain and take good care of the new facilities to ensure long-term benefits.

Meanwhile, Aryono, Manager of SSGS PT Telkom Riau, stated that this contribution reflects the company’s genuine concern for community needs, particularly in the area of Islamic education.
“We hope this assistance will bring real benefits to the students here. In the future, we also look forward to expanding this Infrastructure for Good Program so more Islamic schools can experience its impact,” he said.
The event concluded with a symbolic handover ceremony — a Giant Check from PT Telkom Riau to the Head of Badrul Islam Islamic Boarding School, along with a commemorative plaque presented by DT Peduli Riau to PT Telkom Riau, marking the official completion of the program.
