PT Paragon and DT Peduli South Kalimantan Launch Nutrition Improvement Program to Prevent Stunting

BANJARMASIN – PT Paragon Technology and Innovation, together with DT Peduli South Kalimantan, officially launched a Nutrition Improvement Program aimed at preventing stunting on Wednesday (20 August 2025). Nutritional assistance was distributed to 20 children affected by stunting to support prevention efforts in Banjarmasin City.

The event was attended by the Deputy Mayor of Banjarmasin, the Head of Public Health Division of Banjarmasin Health Office, representatives from the Ministry of Religious Affairs of South Kalimantan, the National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN) of South Kalimantan, and 16 program beneficiaries.

The program began with an opening by MC Sarifah Mahdania Assegaf, followed by the Indonesian national anthem, recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Nur Izzati Rahmah, and a welcoming speech from DT Peduli South Kalimantan representative, Nordiansyah.

Deputy Mayor Hj. Ananda delivered remarks and officially inaugurated the program. In her address, she expressed her appreciation to DT Peduli and PT Paragon for their contribution in supporting government initiatives to reduce stunting through improved nutritional intake.

“We deeply appreciate this initiative by DT Peduli South Kalimantan and PT Paragon in launching a nutrition improvement program. Stunting is not only a health issue but also concerns the future of our generation. This effort aligns with the city government’s program to reduce stunting rates. May this initiative become a source of continuous reward and bring blessings to us all,” said Nordiansyah.

The main agenda included the distribution of nutrition packages consisting of fruits, milk, vitamins, biscuits, and eggs for the beneficiaries. The recipients expressed joy and gratitude, including Rina, the mother of Rania, one of the children.

“I have long hoped to get these vitamins. Alhamdulillah, today it is Rania’s blessing to receive them from DT Peduli. This Nutrition Package is very useful for my child. Thank you so much to DT Peduli and Paragon,” she said.

This program is expected to provide real benefits for the community and serve as a strategic step in improving children’s health as the nation’s future generation.
