SEMARANG – DT Peduli Central Java (Jateng), PT Paragon Corp, and the Semarang City Social Affairs Office collaborated to host a Beauty Class Training for around 100 participants from various disability communities across Semarang. The event, held at the Tembalang District Hall on Thursday (23 October 2025), aimed to build self-confidence and empower people with disabilities.
The collaborative program, conducted through Paragon’s Paragonation initiative, focused on developing makeup and beauty skills. Anita Mega Tristianti, Human Resources Business Partner for PT Paragon Corp’s Central Region, explained that the training not only provided basic makeup techniques but also complete beauty kits for all participants.
“Through this makeup class, we hope our friends with disabilities can gain confidence and practical skills,” said Anita.
Vita Febriarini, Head of DT Peduli Central Java Office, stated that this collaboration reflects a strong commitment to corporate and governmental social responsibility in supporting disability inclusion.
Endah Margya Sukmawati, Head of the Social Rehabilitation Division at the Semarang City Social Affairs Office, expressed her appreciation for the initiative and encouraged participants to turn their new skills into entrepreneurial opportunities.
“This training is an important part of the government’s effort to empower people with disabilities, particularly in the area of beauty and makeup. We hope that participants will later be able to open small beauty salons or work independently as freelance makeup artists,” Endah said.
