MALANG – On Friday (September 19, 2025), DT Peduli Malang distributed educational support to eight students (santri) from outside Java, specifically from East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) and West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), who are studying at Al Munjin Islamic Boarding School. The assistance covered 50% of the cost of student workbook (LKS) fees to ease the financial burden on the students and their families.
This initiative reflects DT Peduli’s commitment to promoting equal learning opportunities, especially for children coming from regions with limited access to education.
The head of Al Munjin Islamic Boarding School expressed gratitude:
“We are deeply thankful to DT Peduli for caring about the education of our students. This support means a lot, especially for those who have come from faraway regions to pursue both religious and general knowledge.”
Through its Zakat for Education program, DT Peduli hopes to motivate students to continue learning and achieving excellence. The distribution of zakat funds is expected to bring lasting benefit to the wider community.
