BOGOR — DT Peduli Bogor carried out a livestock-based economic empowerment program by distributing 25 male sheep to five beneficiaries in Rancabungur District, Bogor Regency, on Thursday (September 25, 2025). The program aims to improve farmers’ welfare while preparing livestock for sale during Eid al-Adha 2026.
Each beneficiary, from the villages of Pasirgaok, Bantarjaya, and Bantarsari, received five quality male sheep. In addition to providing livestock capital, the program also includes training on farm management and marketing assistance.
Masrudi, one of the beneficiaries from Bantarsari Village, expressed his gratitude: “I feel very helped by this program. With the five male sheep given, I feel more confident in managing this business better. I hope that after a year of care, these sheep can be sold at a good price during Eid al-Adha 2026 and bring enough profit to expand my business,” he said.
He also appreciated the training provided: “This program not only provides livestock but also training and guidance on how to properly care for them,” he added.
DT Peduli Bogor hopes this program will have a long-term positive impact, reduce economic disparities, and foster self-reliance through sustainable livestock business management.
