AMMAN – Following the partial lifting of the Gaza blockade on May 19, 2025, DT Peduli’s LPM Director, Muhammad Ihsan, and the Sharia Supervisory Board of Darut Tauhid Peduli Foundation, Ustadz Ali Nurdin, immediately traveled to Jordan. Their mission: to oversee and ensure the swift preparation and distribution of urgent humanitarian aid.

On Tuesday (May 20), the DT Peduli team in Jordan began preparing food packages to be delivered to Gaza. But the team also recognized a broader need: the Palestinian struggle extends beyond Gaza and the West Bank.

“We often forget that the Palestinian struggle also lives on in refugee camps across Jordan. Millions endure hardship here, clinging to memories of their homeland,” said Ihsan.

In parallel with Gaza aid efforts, DT Peduli continued its Peduli Palestine program by distributing 300 food packages to 300 Palestinian refugee families in Talbiyah Camp and Jabal Nadzif Camp on Wednesday (May 21).

This initiative highlights DT Peduli’s commitment to supporting Palestinians, wherever they may be. According to UNRWA, more than 2 million Palestinian refugees live in Jordan, many without access to basic rights such as healthcare and employment. DT Peduli’s presence in Jordan aims to ease their burden and restore dignity through consistent aid.

The distributed food packages contain essential staples designed to help families meet their daily needs. More than just relief, the aid represents a message of solidarity and hope.

“Delivering aid is not only about food. It’s about keeping hope alive — because even in the tents of exile, Palestine’s future continues to grow through education, healthcare, and unyielding humanity,” Ihsan concluded.
