SOUTH TANGERANG – Majelis Ta’lim Nurul Insani, in collaboration with DT Peduli, distributed financial aid from the employees of MTT Telkomsel to 25 elderly beneficiaries at PAUD Asoka, South Tangerang City, on Thursday, 16 October 2025.
The collaboration between MTT Telkomsel, DT Peduli, and Majelis Ta’lim Nurul Insani reflects a strong commitment to improving community welfare, particularly among underprivileged elderly groups in the South Tangerang area.
A representative from MTT Telkomsel, Asmawati, stated that the activity reflects Telkomsel employees’ social awareness in distributing their zakat funds.
“We sincerely hope that the funds we entrusted through DT Peduli are distributed to the right recipients and bring meaningful benefits to the elderly community here,” she said.
The event was attended by representatives from MTT Telkomsel and Siti Mariam, Head of Majelis Ta’lim Nurul Insani. In her remarks, Siti Mariam expressed heartfelt gratitude for the initiative.
“We would like to express our deepest appreciation to MTT Telkomsel for entrusting their zakat through DT Peduli. This financial aid means so much to our elderly members, many of whom are facing difficult economic conditions,” said Siti Mariam.
This initiative not only provided relief to the elderly but also strengthened the spirit of compassion and collaboration between corporations and community-based organisations in Indonesia’s ongoing efforts to promote social welfare and dignity for all.
