PANDEGLANG — A joyful atmosphere filled the village of Nangela, Nanggala Village, Cikeusik District, Pandeglang Regency, on Wednesday (September 24, 2025). It was a historic moment for seven beneficiary families who received 35 sheep through the Superior Livestock Program of DT Peduli Banten. Each family was entrusted with five sheep as initial capital to develop their livestock business.

The handover was warmly welcomed by the local community, who recognized that the program was not merely about providing livestock but also opening new opportunities to improve family livelihoods.

Budiman, Manager of DT Peduli Banten, explained that the organization remains committed to implementing programs that have a direct impact on people’s lives. The Superior Livestock Assistance was chosen because the livestock sector holds significant potential to increase household income.

“We hope this livestock support can improve the quality of life of farmers and their families. We aim to help them achieve self-reliance through livestock farming while also providing the community with quality animal-based food,” said Budiman.
He emphasized that the program goes beyond simply handing over the livestock. DT Peduli Banten also provides guidance and education to the beneficiaries on how to care for, grow, and manage their livestock so they can generate added economic value.

One of the beneficiaries, Sunarya, expressed his gratitude:

“Alhamdulillah, I am very grateful for the sheep provided by DT Peduli Banten. This support means so much not only for me personally but also for the residents of Nangela,” he said.

Sunarya added that the sheep will serve as an important asset for families to improve their economic conditions. He also expressed hope that similar assistance could continue so that more residents might benefit.

With this program, the people of Nangela Village are optimistic about strengthening their economic independence through livestock farming. DT Peduli Banten remains committed to contributing to rural empowerment through other sustainable and productive initiatives.
