BARITO KUALA — DT Peduli South Kalimantan (Kalsel) distributed social assistance in the form of food packages to underprivileged elderly residents in Barito Kuala on Friday (September 19, 2025). This initiative aims to help meet the basic needs of senior citizens who are facing economic hardship.
The food packages contained staple goods such as rice, cooking oil, sugar, and other daily necessities. The event took place in a warm and heartfelt atmosphere, welcomed with gratitude by the beneficiaries.
Siti Rokayah, one of the recipients, expressed her heartfelt thanks: “Alhamdulillah, thank you so much for this food package. It really helps us with our daily needs. May Allah bless those who contributed with abundant sustenance and good health, aamiin,” she said.
Through this program, DT Peduli South Kalimantan hopes that the elderly feel cared for and supported while reminding the community of the importance of sharing with others.
