YOGYAKARTA – DT Peduli Yogyakarta held a two-day Basic Education and Training (Diklatsar) program for its scholarship recipients (Beasiswa Mahasiswa or Besma) on Friday–Saturday (10–11 October 2025) at Café West Prog. The event served as a meaningful platform to build strong character and resilience among students, grounded in DT Peduli’s core values — BAKU (Baik dan Kuat), meaning “Good and Strong.”
Throughout the sessions, participants engaged in interactive learning and reflection activities designed to strengthen their understanding of DT Peduli’s values. The training emphasised the importance of integrity, service, and perseverance as part of the personal development of every Besma recipient.
The sessions were led by Ihsan, Head of DT Peduli Yogyakarta Branch, and Novi, Program Manager. Both speakers underscored the significance of nurturing a sense of responsibility and dedication early on.
“Becoming a scholarship recipient is not just about receiving aid; it’s an amanah — a trust to keep doing good and spreading benefits to others,” said Ihsan during his motivational address.
Echoing Ihsan’s sentiment, Novi highlighted that the BAKU (Good and Strong) character must be the foundation for every DT Peduli scholar.
“DT Peduli students should embody goodness in their morals and behaviour, and strength in knowledge and perseverance. From this foundation, empowered and impactful individuals will emerge,” she said.
One of the participants, Fiqi, demonstrated strong commitment by attending the training despite being in the middle of an internship program in East Java.
“I’ve learned so much, especially about the value of togetherness and the sense of responsibility as part of the DT Peduli family,” he shared.
Through this Diklatsar program, DT Peduli Yogyakarta aims to nurture a generation of young people who are morally grounded, resilient, and ready to serve the community and nation.
