GOWA — The collaboration between Hisana and DT Peduli once again delivered tangible benefits to the community through a free health screening program held at the Syekh Yusuf Car Free Day (CFD) area, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi, on Sunday (30/11/2025).

The activity was warmly welcomed by residents, who were able to access health checks in an easy and affordable manner. The services provided included blood pressure checks, blood sugar testing, cholesterol and uric acid screening, as well as basic health consultations.

The program aimed to deliver essential primary healthcare services while increasing public awareness of the importance of early disease detection. Designed as a “pop-up health post,” the initiative blended seamlessly with residents’ morning exercise routines at the CFD area.

During the event, a total of 131 residents made use of the health screening services. This figure reflects the strong public response to community-based health initiatives that integrate educational and preventive approaches.

“I am very grateful for the free health screening provided by Hisana and DT Peduli. I hope this program can continue in the future. May all the efforts of Hisana and DT Peduli be counted as acts of worship in the sight of Allah SWT,” said Jihanar Assari Dg. Lau, a resident of Pallangga.

Salehuddin, Head of DT Peduli Gowa Office, emphasized the importance of collaboration in expanding access to community services.

“We see this community-based and collaborative health service model as highly effective. Reaching 131 people in a single session demonstrates that the community truly needs accessible basic health screenings,” he explained.

The free health service program is expected to continue, not only as a medical screening initiative but also as an educational platform to encourage residents of Gowa to maintain healthy lifestyles and practice early detection of health risks.
