EAST LOMBOK — DT Peduli Mataram Branch brought hope and support by distributing financial assistance for the renovation of a home belonging to Patmawati, a hardworking water spinach picker from Masbagik Timur Village, Masbagik Subdistrict, East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, on Tuesday (October 1, 2025). Despite daily challenges, Patmawati continues to persevere with determination.
The heartfelt donation, sourced from DT Peduli’s crowdfunding platform, was dedicated to transforming her late husband’s house into a comfortable and welcoming home.
In addition to housing challenges, Patmawati also lacked access to proper sanitation facilities. For bathing, washing, and using the restroom, she had to rely on a public facility nearby.
“This house was left by my late husband and has been damaged for a long time. I’ve always hoped it could be repaired, but I haven’t had the money. I’m already grateful just to have enough to eat,” she shared tearfully.
DT Peduli NTB volunteers personally delivered the renovation funds, which will be used to purchase construction materials. Filled with gratitude, Patmawati expressed her heartfelt thanks.
“Alhamdulillah, thanks to the support from DT Peduli donors, I no longer have to worry when it rains, especially during these months. Thank you so much — may Allah reward the kindness of all the donors and grant all their wishes. Ameen,” said Mrs. Patmawati.
Through this initiative, DT Peduli hopes that Patmawati can soon have a decent and safe home, especially during the rainy season.
