BANDUNG – In response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis and the acute risk of malnutrition, DT Peduli, through its international humanitarian program, distributed Baby Nutritional Supplements to hundreds of families in Deir Al-Balah, Gaza, on Sunday (2 November 2025). This aid aims to help meet infants’ basic nutritional needs and prevent malnutrition that threatens their growth and development.
The current condition of residents in Central Gaza is deeply alarming due to severely limited food supplies, lack of access to nutritious food, and inadequate healthcare services. Infants are among the most vulnerable groups facing the danger of malnutrition.
F. Arif, Assistant Manager for International Humanitarian Affairs at LPM DT Peduli, shared that the aid reached Gaza during a temporary pause in the conflict.
“During the brief opening of border crossings under the recent ceasefire, DT Peduli made every effort to deliver formula milk to help meet the nutritional needs of toddlers in the Gaza Strip,” said Arif.
He added that this initiative is one of several efforts designed to indirectly help safeguard the future of the young generation — the future guardians of Al-Quds.
The distribution was conducted directly to the most affected families, prioritising infants as the most at-risk group. This humanitarian action demonstrates the solidarity and compassion of the Indonesian people for their brothers and sisters in Gaza. DT Peduli continues to call upon the public to strengthen their support for Gaza, where every act of kindness brings hope and helps save lives.
