BANDUNG, Indonesia — DT Peduli Bandung surveyed on Thursday (28 August 2025) as part of the Qur’an Teacher Scholarship Program. This initiative marks the first step in ensuring that educational assistance is accurately targeted, particularly for those dedicated to teaching the Qur’an.
During the survey, Faza, representing DT Peduli Bandung, visited prospective beneficiaries directly. He gathered information on their teaching background, the number of students under their guidance, and the challenges they face in their daily activities. The data collected will serve as a key consideration in determining scholarship recipients, ensuring that the support truly reaches teachers with strong dedication.
The Qur’an Teacher Scholarship Program itself is a form of appreciation and support for Qur’an educators who have long taught with sincerity, often amid financial and resource limitations. Through this program, DT Peduli aims to ease their burdens, allowing them to focus more on teaching and developing better learning methods.
One candidate, Ahmad Arif Abdul Aziz, shared his hopes for the program:
“Teaching the Qur’an is a great trust. Sometimes we face limitations in facilities and costs, but we strive to remain steadfast. A program like this is truly meaningful for us, encouraging us to continue guiding our students more effectively,” he said.
With this survey, DT Peduli Bandung is optimistic that scholarship distribution will be well-targeted. Beyond financial assistance, the program also seeks to enhance the motivation and welfare of Qur’an teachers, enabling them to continue spreading Qur’anic values within society.
