BEKASI – DT Peduli Bekasi, in collaboration with DKM PT EPSON, distributed business carts to three local micro, small, and medium-sized enterprise (MSMEs) entrepreneurs in Bekasi on Monday (13 October 2025). The beneficiaries included a mobile coffee vendor, a chicken porridge seller, and a meatball street vendor — one of whom, Andri, is a person with disabilities.
This initiative aims to boost productivity, expand sales reach, and promote economic independence among community members, including those with disabilities.
One of the recipients, Andri, expressed his gratitude, saying, “With this new cart, I hope my business can grow and help me better support my family.”
DT Peduli Bekasi emphasized that its commitment extends beyond providing business carts. The organization will continue to mentor the beneficiaries through entrepreneurship and business management training, ensuring the program’s sustainability.
The organization hopes that this economic empowerment initiative can continue to expand, supporting more communities in Bekasi City and Regency to achieve economic self-reliance.
