GRESIK – Paragonian, in collaboration with DT Peduli East Java, renovated classroom facilities and distributed educational equipment at SLB Al-Ikhlas, located in Madumulyorejo Village, Gresik Regency, on Thursday (10 October 2025).
This initiative reflects the compassion and commitment of PT Paragon Technology and Innovation (Paragonian) employees in supporting the education of children with disabilities, who require special attention and care.
The Paragonian DC Surabaya team received a warm welcome from the students of SLB Al-Ikhlas, who greeted them with banjari performances and heartfelt songs.
HR Business Partner of Paragon Corp DC Surabaya, Wenny Oktavia, expressed that Paragon is committed to continuously spreading kindness and giving back to the community.
“Alhamdulillah, as Paragon celebrates its 46th year, we are grateful to keep spreading goodness. Many of our employees were deeply moved and happy to be directly involved in this initiative,” Wenny said during her remarks.
Following the speeches, everyone joined a community service activity — repainting classrooms, repairing roof tiles, creating a school garden, and spending joyful moments singing and playing with the children.
In addition to the renovation work, Paragon also donated walking aids, learning modules, and classroom chairs to enhance the comfort and accessibility of the learning environment.
Head of DT Peduli East Java, Bangbang Sujana, highlighted the school’s ongoing need for support.
“SLB Al-Ikhlas is still in its early stages and needs a lot of assistance. We hope these improved facilities will benefit the children greatly,” he said.
Meanwhile, Sufiyah, Chairperson of the Al-Ikhlas Foundation, was visibly touched as she witnessed the collaborative efforts at her school.
“We are truly grateful for this activity. May it continue and bring lasting benefit to our students,” she expressed warmly.
