NORTH SUMATRA – DT Peduli has established two community kitchens to meet the food needs of residents affected by flooding in North Sumatra on Sunday (30 November 2025).
The two community kitchens are located on Selebes Street in Medan Belawan and at Al-Falah IMP Remafa Mosque in Medan Labuhan. Together, they have the capacity to provide ready-to-eat meals for 1,800 households per day (900 households at each location).
The presence of these community kitchens serves as a form of direct support for residents who have difficulty accessing ready-to-eat meals amid the disaster.
“Thank you very much to DT Peduli for supporting us, flood victims. This assistance is truly helpful for all of us affected by the disaster,” said Aminah, one of the aid recipients.
DT Peduli remains committed to standing with the affected communities until conditions stabilize, hoping that this assistance will help ease the burden of survivors as they navigate this difficult period.
