CIREBON — The DT Peduli Cirebon Service Office once again reached out to support local families in need by distributing 20 food aid packages to hardworking individuals striving to provide for their families. The distribution took place in Gg. Pesantren, Jatiseeng Kidul, Ciledug District, Cirebon Regency, on Thursday (2 October 2025).
This initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Belajar Jadi Baik (BJB) community — a local youth Islamic study group based in Jatiseeng Kidul that actively engages in social activities. The distributed food packages contained rice, flour, sugar, cooking oil, milk, instant noodles, and soy sauce.
According to Sugeng, a Program Officer at DT Peduli Cirebon, the program specifically targets families living below the poverty line.
“The assistance is focused on family breadwinners who are struggling financially — especially those without a steady income, widows supporting their families alone, and individuals with disabilities who continue to persevere despite physical limitations,” explained Sugeng.
The collaboration received a warm welcome from the BJB community, which expressed enthusiasm about expanding future partnerships.
“Alhamdulillah, we’re very thankful to DT Peduli for visiting and collaborating with us. Hopefully, the number of aid packages can increase in the future. There’s great potential to strengthen our partnership since we share the same passion for doing good through charity and social care,” said Lutfi, Head of the BJB Community.
