SERDANG BEDAGAI – Daarut Tauhiid (DT) Peduli North Sumatra distributed medical assistance to Riski G Tanjung, a hit-and-run victim and a yatim (fatherless child), in Dusun III, Pasar Baru Village, Teluk Mengkudu District, on Thursday (13/11/2025). This support was provided to help ease the cost of Riski’s weekly medical check-ups at Lubuk Pakam Hospital due to the injuries he sustained.
The economic condition of Riski’s family has been severely affected. His mother, a widow, was forced to stop her small coffee stall business for more than two months to fully focus on caring for Riski during his recovery.
Salman Lubis, DT Peduli North Sumatra representative, personally delivered the assistance.
“We hope this support can help ease the medical expenses and strengthen the family’s spirit throughout Riski’s recovery process,” said Salman.
Riski expressed his heartfelt gratitude.
“Thank you so much to DT Peduli North Sumatra for helping me. May Allah reward this kindness, and may more people in need receive help,” he said.
DT Peduli North Sumatra hopes this spirit of kindness and solidarity will continue to grow, so that more vulnerable communities, especially those facing health and economic hardships, can receive the support they need.
