DT Peduli’s Sate Taichan in Bekasi Wins GrabFood Award for Best-Selling Satay

BEKASI – A Sate Taichan business fostered by DT Peduli Bekasi has been awarded Best Partner GrabFood in the category of best-selling satay in Cibubur on Saturday (23 August 2025). The recognition is a remarkable achievement, considering the business has only been running for one month.

The stall is managed by orphaned youths trained to process chicken into Sate Taichan. Through this initiative, they are now able to earn their own income while also helping the foundation create future employment opportunities for other orphaned children.

“Consistency and hard work in developing small enterprises are always prioritised so that every business under DT Peduli’s guidance can continue to thrive, even amid economic ups and downs,” said Arif Hidayat, DT Peduli Bekasi Program Officer.
