PADANG — DT Peduli West Sumatra once again demonstrated its commitment to caring for the community by distributing emergency aid to residents affected by a fire in Pemancungan, Padang City, on Thursday (16 October 2025).
The fire, which broke out several days earlier, destroyed 21 houses, leaving dozens of people homeless and deprived of their valuable belongings.
As part of its emergency response, the DT Peduli West Sumatra team coordinated with local authorities and volunteers to distribute hygiene kits, essential food packages, diapers, baby formula, and school supplies.
The assistance represented the trust and generosity of DT Peduli West Sumatra’s donors. Through this distribution, DT Peduli ensured that the aid reached the intended beneficiaries effectively and promptly.
“Alhamdulillah, today DT Peduli West Sumatra has successfully delivered the entrusted donations from our generous donors to our brothers and sisters affected by the fire in Pemancungan. We hope this aid can help ease their burden and serve as a source of blessings for all donors who have contributed,” said Halimahtus Sa’diyah, Program Manager of DT Peduli West Sumatra.
