DT Peduli Trains Scholarship Recipients in Public Speaking and Character Building

BANDUNG – Recipients of the DTBS Regular High School and Vocational School Scholarships took part in a routine coaching session organized by DT Peduli Bandung at the Bandung Service Office on Friday afternoon (25 July 2025).

The session, held from 3:45 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, focused on developing public speaking skills through hands-on practice as Masters of Ceremony (MC), Qur’an recitation, and delivering short Islamic talks (kultum). An interactive Q&A segment was also conducted to encourage courage and boost participants’ self-confidence.

In addition to technical training, the session included institutional strengthening and motivational guidance from the DT Peduli team. Participants were instilled with core values regarding their role as scholarship recipients, with the expectation that they become exemplary individuals in worship, character, and both academic and non-academic achievements.

“This program is not only aimed at improving their communication skills but also at shaping them into resilient and inspiring leaders of the future,” said Pepen Ependi, Program Empowerment Staff at the Bandung Service Office.

DT Peduli hopes the scholarship recipients will grow into future national assets—bright, ethical young leaders who make a positive impact on society.
