DT Peduli South Sumatra and MTT Sumbagsel Distribute School Supplies Packages for Orphans and Underprivileged Children in Palembang

PALEMBANG – DT Peduli South Sumatra (Sumsel), in collaboration with Majelis Telkomsel Taqwa (MTT) Sumbagsel, distributed 10 packages of school supplies along with financial assistance to orphans and underprivileged children in Jl. Yayasan, Sukajaya Subdistrict, Palembang City.

The program, held on Saturday (9/8/2025), aimed to spread joy and encourage the learning spirit of children in need in Palembang.

Hendra Irawan, Program Manager of DT Peduli South Sumatra, emphasized that through this initiative, DT Peduli Sumsel and MTT Sumbagsel strive to continue spreading benefits, nurturing social awareness, and inspiring the community to take part in helping others.

“Love means caring. Every act of love for orphans and the underprivileged is expressed through programs like this. We hope these packages and support will motivate the children to be more enthusiastic about their education,” said Hendra.

The distribution event was filled with happiness and excitement. The packages included school bags, books, and other stationery items. The children’s faces lit up with joy as they received the school supplies and financial assistance.

Ustadzah Sri, Coordinator of DT Peduli Sumsel donors, shared her gratitude:

“Alhamdulillah, we are deeply grateful that DT Peduli Sumsel and MTT Sumbagsel could deliver these school supplies and assistance.
