The “Wisata Bahagia” (Joyful Outing) brought smiles and new experiences to 100 children.

BANJARBARU – In celebration of the Islamic New Year 1447 H, DT Peduli South Kalimantan organized a Wisata Bahagia (Joyful Outing) activity, as part of the Muharram Peduli Yatim (MPY) program. On Sunday (July 20, 2025), a total of 100 orphans and underprivileged children from Banjarmasin and Barito Kuala were treated to a day of fun at Amanah Borneo Park in Banjarbaru.

This activity aimed to bring happiness, unforgettable experiences, and moral support to children who need extra care and affection. Beyond recreation, the outing also served as an educational and spiritual experience.

The day began with the departure of participants from two pick-up points—Banjarmasin and Barito Kuala. Upon arrival at the park, the children were warmly welcomed by the organizing committee and volunteers. A total of 30 staff and volunteers from DT Peduli oversaw the event to ensure it ran safely and smoothly.

The agenda kicked off with an opening ceremony, Qur’an recitation, welcome remarks, a symbolic photo session, and the distribution of financial support to the children. After that, the children enjoyed an educational tour and outbound activities, engaging in games and challenges that promoted teamwork and agility.

Participants then performed the Dhuhr prayer in congregation at a designated prayer area, emphasizing spiritual growth as part of the day’s experience. A shared lunch followed, further enhancing the sense of warmth and community between the children and volunteers.

In his remarks, Nordiansyah, Director of DT Peduli South Kalimantan, expressed gratitude to all the donors who made the event possible.

“Alhamdulillah, on behalf of DT Peduli, I extend our heartfelt thanks to all our donors—Amanah Borneo Park, Banjarmasin Customs Office, the Regional Tax Office of South and Central Kalimantan, and other generous contributors. May you be blessed with continued success, smooth affairs, and abundant blessings. Aamiin,” he said.
Joy and gratitude were also expressed by the children. One participant, Zidna, shared her delight:

“My name is Zidna. Thank you to DT Peduli and the donors for bringing us to Wisata Bahagia. I’m so happy because there were so many fun rides, and I got to spend time with my friends. Once again, thank you! May Allah bless you with a long life, abundant wealth, and a happy family. Aamiin,” she said with a bright smile.

Through compassion and shared joy, DT Peduli hopes to continue supporting the growth and well-being of these children, helping shape a future filled with meaning, love, and happiness.
